Students’ Activities
Students at the Faculty of Communication Sciences (FIKOM) of the Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) apart from focusing on the academic field, there are also Student Activity Units (UKM) that can be participated in according to their area of specialization. Each UKM is coached by lecturers at FIKOM and under the supervision of the Vice Dean for Students, Alumni and Cooperation. So, the activity becomes more suitable for strengthening students' abilities in the field of chess dharma.
If the activity unit they are interested in is not at FIKOM, students are also permitted and of course may take part in activities, communities and organizations outside the faculty. The FIKOM study program really encourages students to develop their abilities and hobbies outside of student academic activities.
Nowadays, with the existence of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM), the activities of FIKOM students and lecturers have also increased. They can easily undertake Student Exchange, Teaching Campus and Certified Internships.
