Research

Research is a scientific way to obtain data with a specific purpose and use. The scientific way means that research activities are based on scientific characteristics, namely rational, empirical and systematic. Several lecturers of the Faculty of Communication Sciences have conducted research in various fields under the competence of each lecturer.

Lecturer Research is a research activity that fosters and directs novice researchers to improve their ability to carry out research and publish their research results in scientific journals both nationally and internationally.

Basically, the main task of a lecturer is not only as a lecturer but also involvement in research and service. That is as stated in the “Tridharma” of Higher Education. The duties of a lecturer besides teaching or guiding students, lecturers are also required to conduct research and community service.
